Sitaram Gaushala is located at Anapurchhota Village of Banaskantha District in Gujarat. It is established in 2020 and it has around 300+ Cows. This Bhagirath work has been carried out by Sitarambapu. As we all know that cow is our mother. we should treat it well because it is the existence of god on earth. The purpose of this organization is to the conservation of stray and sick cows and stops going to the slaughterhouse.
This Gaushala is run and managed by saints Shree Sitaram Bapu. We do not exploit these cows for milk but distribute it free to saints/tapas is / Gausewaks / Ashrams.
We, Sitaram Gaushala – Anapurchhota, as a mature charitable organization appeal to you to inspire your family, friends, and relatives by taking the first step of implementing a new system by making donations on your children’s birthdays, marriages, anniversaries, or during the establishment of new business venture, etc.
We were living our lives peacefully in our families busy with day-to-day family chores. But, there is a meaning to everyone’s life and we thought, that was missing in ours. Then, destiny took us to a saint from Girnar, Pujya Shri Sitarambapu speaking with a thunderous voice about the greatness of Gau Mata.
The place Gau Mata held in our lives was more than that of a family member. She was regarded as a mother nurturing and nourishing her sons and daughters with milk, protecting them from diseases with her Gau-mutra, and making the land fertile to grow grains with her Gobara. Her Oxen ploughing the fields and being an integral part of day-to-day chores of life like transportation and irrigation. The first roti in every household was meant for her called ‘GauGrass’. No ceremony was considered complete without her, from naming ceremony to marriage ceremony or last rites. She was always referred to as GauDhan.
We have almost lost her and with that our deep values in these years after independence. The struggle for which in fact began with her, when one of her true sons refused to put in his mouth the cartridges laced with her flesh. Our beloved mother is now forgotten and forced out of the house, left to feed herself at garbage bins. She is being slaughtered mercilessly to enable our great country to become the largest beef exporter in the world (pun intended).
The words of great saint Pujya Shri Sitarambapu moved here. He challenged the youth of this nearby village to rise and bring her back to her true place which is our hearts. His Dhenu Manas Grantha and Gau Katha deeply imbibed the love for Gau Mata in our hearts and we started Gauseva visiting Gaushala.
Doing Gau Seva will give you the pleasure you will never get anywhere else. Her Milk is nectar, her Gomutra is Sanjivani and her Gobara is a blessing. We could understand why Rig-Veda called her Aghanya (never to be killed) and Yajurveda called her Incomparable to anything in this universe (Gostu matra na vidhyate).
